“Human Trafficking and You”

Human Trafficking is in the movies and in the news, but it also happens right here in our local communities.  It is among the top three international crimes along with drug and weapons trafficking. January has Presidential recognition as  National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month. You can learn what you can do to stop it, and to help those who have been affected by it?  Learn what trafficking is, how to identify it, and how to address it in an introductory presentation on January 20th at 7:30 PM sponsored by Knights of Columbus Council #3269 in Fr. Ragan Hall at 1783 Moore Rd. Avon, OH 44011.

Speaker Joan Clark is the Chair of West Shore Allies Against Human Trafficking based at Rocky River Unitarian Universalist Church, a speaker for the Collaborative to End Human Trafficking, and a Board Member of the Renee Jones Empowerment Center in Cleveland.

Please RSVP by  January 14th with your name(s), the number attending, your phone number and email address to either (440) 930-0251, or mail to Human Trafficking Meeting at the above address. The seminar is free and all are welcome. Snacks and beverages will be provided.
